Nancy Michels

Nancy Michels brings more than 25 years experience in business strategy, marketing, leadership development and organizational effectiveness to her executive coaching and leadership advisory work. She is a highly skilled facilitator, teacher, consultant and coach. She has lived in North America, Europe and Asia and brings a global perspective to her work.

In addition to her private leadership advisory and executive coaching work, Nancy facilitates participant-centered leadership development programs for Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning. Her focus is on helping individuals become stronger leaders, which in turn benefits their teams and their organizations.

Before moving to Tokyo, Nancy was a professor for 10 years in the MBA program at Zurich Business School, UIBS, where she taught marketing and strategy and consistently received the highest ratings from students. She spent her early career in strategy consulting as a Partner

with Monitor Group (now Monitor Deloitte), based first in Boston and then in San Francisco, working in a variety of industries with a focus on competitive strategy and change management.

Nancy received her MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a BA in Economics. She is American-Swiss and currently lives in Tokyo.
